Super Easy way to transfer your Android to iPhone
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and you received everything you asked Santa for. I have a quick tech-tip story that may help you in the future if you plan on moving from an Android phone to an iPhone.
My mother in-law received a new iPhone 8 for Christmas and she was very excited. The whole family was ecstatic for her because now she can Facetime and text with the rest of our iPhone wielding family.
The next day she took her new phone to Sprint for the activation, and data transfer from Android to the iPhone. Afterwards she noticed her phone contacts, call log and text messages did not show up on the new iPhone.
Once I heard about this I asked her to bring me both phones, so we can get this taken care of the right way!
Some of you may have heard about a program called iAmazing or Anytrans to copy data from Android to iPhone or old iPhone to new iPhone. The only downside to these programs are they can cost from $29.99 for a single license to $69.99 for multiple licensees.
Free and Easy
You can use an app called “Move to iOS” to transfer your settings. The Move to iOS app securely transfers your content for you.
Step 1: Download the Move to iOS app on your Android device
Step 2: Transfer your Content over Wi-Fi
Step 3: Get started with your new iPhone
That’s all to it. My mother in-law was happy I got her text messages and call log back.
